1988:

• Foundation of Symvoli

• Election of Polyvios Karaolides, one of Symvoli’s founders, as President of the Hellenic Institute of Marketing (EIM) and Vice-President of the Hellenic Management Association (HMA or ΕΕΔΕ)

 

1989:

• First meeting of InterSearch original founders in Paris, France

 

1990:

• Adoption of “InterSearch Worldwide” as official name and brand for the international organization

 

1991:

• Inception of the world-wide Standard Quality and Best Practices Committee

 

1992:

• InterSearch has grown to 50 offices in 19 countries

 

1995:

• Symvoli becomes the Greek partner of InterSearch

 

1998:

• Harris Karaolides joins Symvoli as working partner

 

1999:

• The InterSearch Academy is founded to train new consultants and staff members on international best practices and standards

 

2003:

• InterSearch has grown to 92 offices in 38 countries

 

2008:

• InterSearch has grown to 100 offices in 41 countries

 

2009:

• InterSearch operates in 45 countries with over 90 offices
